Food prefs:
- I eat a lot of spinach. Cooked or uncooked, it's my favourite green. Goes very well with black-eyed peas
- Potatoes - yum!
- I'm a bit of a mustard connoisseur
- I'm also a bit of a cheese connoiseur
- I'm also a bit of a bread connoiseur
- Carrot cake is a good desert
- Pesto
- Hard tofus, particularly when spiced
- A bit of tomato is a way I like to start meals, when possible.
- A number of individual north and south indian dishes, like Dosa and Saag Paneer
- Crêpes
- Mild, sweet wines (particularly astis)
- Naked Juice (and reasonable fascimilies thereof)
- Croutons
- Cashews, Almonds, Peanuts (but never in a salad - I don't like that taste combination)
- Raisins (but never mixed with anything else except in cereal)
- Müsli
- Whole Milk
- Cherries, apples, bananas, raspberries, many other fruits and vegetables (when raw)
- Rice
- Hummus
Food anti-prefs:
- I don't eat meat (no fish, chicken), but will rarely have soups made with chicken stock. Were it not for this I would be well-described as vegetarian
- I don't like the taste or texture of onions, and really dislike the taste of eggs. If I can't taste them, there's no problem.
- beets
- Soymilk - the aftertaste tends to be too weird
- coleslaw
- coconut or carrot shavings (most vegetable shavings, in fact)
- cheesecake
- candied fruits
- Soda - Ginger ale is pleasant, everything else in this genre really puts me off
- watery cheese, or plasticy cheese like "American cheese"
- In theory, given the ingredients, I should love potato salad. As it turns out, I can't even bear the smell
- Pears - I don't like the taste or texture
- Many cooked vegetables
- Trail Mix - tends towards taste combinations I don't like, e.g. raisins+salty
